  • Improved general vehicle interactions - Options that belong to a whole vehicle rather than one part now appear alongside whatever you’re looking at, so there’s no more circling the car hunting for them. A big improvement when used with Chop Shop.
  • Built-in vehicle doors are now open - The door, hood and trunk interactions are open, editable files: client/defaults.lua and server/defaults.lua. No reason they were locked to begin with, just an oversight.
  • Prompts drifting across MLO props - Prompts on props inside custom interiors slid around the model as you moved the camera. They now stay where you found them.
  • Door prompts on motorcycles - Bikes were showing door, hood and trunk prompts for parts they don’t have. Fixed.
  • Interactions hard to focus up close - Standing close to something and looking down at it (including in first person) could fail to focus it. Fixed.
  • Some scripts’ interactions erroring on select - Options from some third-party scripts threw an error the moment you picked them. They relied on a quiet ox_target/qtarget behavior we didn’t bridge. We do now.

  • Performance & efficiency - A second look under the hood on how the client finds what’s around you. Nothing changes in how interactions look or behave, but the work the script does has been significantly reduced, and the periodic spikes in resmon should be eliminated.
  • Hide the hint line - The line under an open list that names the confirm key and the click can now be turned off with Config.Hint, once your players know the controls.
  • Options only fire on the key they show - An option bound to G displayed a G keycap but also triggered on E. It now answers to the key it shows, and to a click.
  • Hold options work everywhere - When an interaction had no title of its own, its first option moved up to the top line and its progress ring filled invisibly, so holding looked like it did nothing at all. The ring now shows wherever the option sits.
  • Consistent keycaps - A keycap standing in for the confirm key tinted itself when its line was highlighted, while a normal keycap did not. Both now look the same.

  • Hidden options no longer show up incorrectly - When several scripts add options to the same thing, you’ll only ever see the ones you can actually use. Options locked to a job or an item no longer leak their name onto everyone’s screen.
  • Every bone in a list works - Scripts that put an interaction on several vehicle bones now get it on every one of them, not just the first.
  • See through bars and glass - Peds and objects behind bank grilles, glass counters and similar see-through surfaces now show their interactions. If you can see it, you can use it.
  • Rebind the interact key - Left Alt is still the default, but every player can now change it for themselves under Settings > Key Bindings > FiveM.
  • Vehicle interactions where your hand would go - Door interactions sit on the handle, and hood and trunk interactions in the middle of the lid, instead of on the hinges. This applies to the built-in door options and to any script that targets those bones.

  • qtarget errors resolved - Scripts that register through qtarget now work unmodified. Modern Interact answers those exports the same way ox_target and qb-target do.
  • Attacking is suppressed while holding Alt - Firing, aiming and melee are off while the interact key is held, so clicking to grab the cursor never fires a shot. Passive mode too.
  • Nothing opens through walls - Labels and options behind a wall stay hidden, zones from other scripts included. The check runs from your character, not the camera, so a camera pushed into a wall can’t see through it.
  • Look away and it’s gone - An interaction shows only while you’re looking at it, and folds away the moment you’re not. It used to stay on screen until you walked out of range.
  • Faster and lighter - The client was rebuilt from the ground up. On a busy street it makes about 85% fewer calls into the game than 1.1.0 did.
  • UI Scaling - Interactions use the same scaling system as Modern UI and Shops Creator, so they look right on every resolution. Modern UI’s UI Scale setting applies to them too.
  • Focus - Hold Alt and a soft vignette frames the screen. No crosshair, and it gives nothing away, so hidden interactions stay hidden. It stays out of the way while another UI has the screen. Config.Focus turns it off.
  • Feedback - Scripts can answer an action right on the interaction: a failure shakes and shows why, a success confirms with a short note, and a spinner shows while the script is deciding. Opt in by returning an answer from your handler:

  • Fixed “coords (vector3) is required” errors - Some scripts’ zones failed to register with this error and never showed up in-game. They register normally now.
  • Fixed zones that showed a label but never the key - Some zones from other scripts could be seen but never used - the E prompt wouldn’t appear no matter how close you got. They now work from right where you’d expect to stand.
  • No more spamming a key during a progress bar - Interactions go quiet while a progress bar is running, so tapping the key can’t repeat an action that’s already underway.
  • Nothing shows on other vehicles while you’re driving - From inside a vehicle you no longer see options on other cars, peds or objects. Garages, drive-thrus and other zones still work from the driver’s seat.
  • Alt works like a classic target - Hold Alt and you keep full camera control. With a menu on screen, left click frees the cursor right at the center of the screen, and right click hands the camera back.
  • Passive mode - Prefer interactions hidden until you hold Alt, like a regular target? Turn it on for the whole server, for specific scripts only, or for a single interaction - see Config.Passive and Config.PassiveResources.
  • Built-in vehicle doors - Toggle each door, the hood and the trunk from outside the vehicle, just like ox_target’s defaults. Config.VehicleDoors turns them off or makes them passive.
  • For script developers - passive and inVehicle on any registration, allowInVehicle on options, and reachMargin on spheres. Details on the Options and Zones pages.
