Ever wondered about the people behind your favorite FiveM scripts? In our latest series we are sitting down with the creators who shape the community.

Meet Nina, the 24-year-old developer from Czech Republic behind RTX Dev; one of FiveM's most innovative script creators. From her early days in MTA to building unique experiences like the Theme Park, Nina has carved out a reputation for bringing real-world concepts into the virtual world of FiveM.

In this interview, Nina shares her development journey, reveals what drives her creative process, discusses her biggest mistakes, and offers advice for aspiring FiveM creators looking to build their own stores.

1. What's your first name?

My name is Nina.

2. Where are you from?

I’m from the Czech Republic.

3. How old are you?

I’m 24 years old.

4. What do you do hobby-wise (outside of FiveM)?

Outside of FiveM, I enjoy fitness and martial arts.

5. What led to you getting into FiveM?

I got into FiveM through MTA, since both use the same scripting language, Lua, and I wanted to try something new.

6. What led to you creating scripts/launching a store, how did you get to that point?

I always wanted to share my work with people. At first, I tried creating roleplay servers, but later I felt it would be a better idea to make my work available to others so they could use it too. On top of that, I had a lot of ideas I wanted to bring to life.

7. Were you a developer prior to FiveM? If so, what did you do and if not, how did you learn?

Before FiveM, I was already developing and creating scripts for the MTA platform, and even before that I programmed in SA-MP using Pawn. I taught myself everything related to programming by looking at how public scripts from others worked. I’ve always been drawn to programming, and I’ve learned Lua, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, and Pawn on my own.

8. What or who influenced you in the beginning, if anything/anyone?

No one really influenced me — I wanted to start on my own. I began in 2019, back when FiveM was just getting started and there weren’t that many scripts around.

9. What is your favorite script/product you've created so far and/or what did you enjoy creating the most and why?

My favorite script is probably our Theme Park, both versions. I really enjoy working with objects and physics — for example, I also had a lot of fun creating the Bowling script.

10. What steps did you take to build your name/brand in the beginning, if any?

I focused on being unique and releasing products that hadn’t been seen on the FiveM scene before.

11. What's your best selling script/product and why do you think it became your best seller?

Our best-selling products are probably the Theme Park and the Television. The Theme Park because it’s unique, and the Television because it’s highly synchronized and supports many platforms.

12. On the opposite side, what's the worst selling script/product and why do you think that is?

To be honest, I wouldn’t say we have a clear worst-selling product. If anything, it might be some of our very first smaller releases. Still, we make sure to keep all of our products, including the older ones, regularly updated.

13. Do you offer refunds to customers? If so, why? And if not, why?

We have a no-refund policy, since all of our products include some open-source parts — for example, HTML and similar components.

14. If you had to name the single greatest mistake you made, what was it and why?

The biggest mistake was probably partnering with Quasar. Once it became clear how he behaves and treats other creators, I truly regretted any kind of cooperation with him.

15. How do you come up with new ideas for a script/product?

I usually get inspired by things I see in real life, and we also pay close attention to suggestions from our community.

16. What tools, programs, platforms or workflows are essential to your development process?

For most of my work, Notepad++ is enough for programming, along with the FiveM native library.

17. With GTA6 on the horizon, how do you think it will impact FiveM?

I believe FiveM will remain very popular even after GTA 6. You can take MTA and SA-MP as examples — they’ve been around for many years. On top of that, we’ll most likely see a new multiplayer platform for GTA 6 as well.

18. What other FiveM creators, if any, do you think are underappreciated or just not noticed enough right now?

I know many talented people who deserve more recognition. For example, ZSX Development — although they are already growing in popularity, which I’m glad to see, because their UI is amazing. I also really like the models from Bugs.

19. What suggestions, if any, do you have for others considering launching a FiveM store of their own?

Definitely try to come up with something new, or show that things can be done in a better way. Most importantly, don’t give up.

20. Let's imagine someone launched a FiveM store and is gaining no traction, what advice would you give them?

I’d definitely recommend not giving up. Try posting on the CFX forum, look into partnering with other FiveM creators, and consider doing giveaways to attract more attention.

21. And lastly, do you have any info you'd like to share about anything you might be working on now or coming out with in the future?

Right now, we’re releasing a DJ System that will bring some exciting new features, and we’re also working on a massive Housing System.
