Ever wondered about the people behind your favorite FiveM scripts? In our latest series we are sitting down with the creators who shape the community.
Meet the 25-year-old creative mind from Portugal behind okok Scripts. From managing CS:GO communities to launching one of FiveM's most recognized brands, this UI designer and visionary has built a reputation for quality-first development alongside partner NONO. Known for revolutionary releases like okokBanking, okok Scripts has become synonymous with professional, well-designed FiveM resources.
1. What's your first name?
No response
2. Where are you from?
Portugal
3. How old are you?
25
4. What do you do hobby-wise (outside of FiveM)?
Outside of FiveM, I'm really passionate about cars. I love driving, sometimes just going for a drive with no destination at all can completely clear my mind and make me forget about everything else for a while. It's one of those simple things that helps me relax and reset.
5. What led to you getting into FiveM?
Since I was a kid, I've always enjoyed creating game servers, from Minecraft and Counter-Strike to SAMP, and later FiveM. Between 2016 and 2018, I had a large CS:GO community in Portugal with multiple servers that became very popular. Then, in 2018, during the first big "boom" of FiveM in Portugal, I launched 4 FiveM servers built on the old VRP framework.
Then in 2020, I decided to start working on a new server again, I spent about six months working day and night on it together with my business partner (NONO), but in the end, we never opened it to the public. A year later, in 2021, I returned to the project and noticed that FiveM had evolved a lot since then, that's when I started exploring development more seriously.
6. What led to you creating scripts/launching a store, how did you get to that point?
When I came back to development in 2021, I realized that CFX had started allowing people to advertise scripts for sale on the forum, which wasn't possible before. That immediately caught my attention.
We decided to create a small store and released our first script, an ESX resource that allowed players to carry multiple weapons in their inventory, fixing a limitation that existed at the time. It quickly gained attention because it solved a real problem for many servers.
Not long after, we decided to start okok Scripts with the goal of creating high-quality, optimized, and visually appealing scripts that server owners could rely on. From there, things grew naturally, and the rest is history.
7. Were you a developer prior to FiveM? If so, what did you do and if not, how did you learn?
I wasn't a developer before FiveM, but I had some basic programming knowledge from creating servers in the past. Most of what I know came from learning as I built the store, improving, experimenting, and solving problems along the way.
Even today, I don't really consider myself a full developer. I mainly focus on the UI, ideas, and managing the store and community. My real strength lies in creativity and understanding what players and server owners want.
okok Scripts is really the result of teamwork, I handle the front-end and the overall vision, while NONO, who is a very talented developer, takes care of the back-end. Together, we've managed to build a strong brand that focuses on both functionality and design.
8. What or who influenced you in the beginning, if anything/anyone?
I didn't really have any specific inspiration or person who influenced me. I've just always loved creating things and sharing them with others. That feeling of building something from scratch and seeing people enjoy and use it has always been what motivates me the most. It's what keeps me pushing to make every new release better than the last.
9. What is your favorite script/product you've created so far and/or what did you enjoy creating the most and why?
I don't have a single "favorite" product. What stands out to me is the early phase of the store, releasing scripts like okokBanking, okokVehicleShop, okokChat, okokContract, and okokReports. I remember how proud I felt after each launch. During that time, NONO and I were literally working from morning to night, and sometimes 24 hours straight, pushing out new scripts. That grind, the momentum, and seeing the community adopt those releases is what I enjoyed the most.
10. What steps did you take to build your name/brand in the beginning, if any?
From the very beginning, I focused entirely on quality and consistency. I wanted every script to feel professional, well-designed, and easy to use. I never relied on paid advertising, everything grew organically through word of mouth and our community.
Discord played a huge role in that growth. I made sure to provide fast support, listen to feedback, and constantly improve based on what people needed. Over time, that built a strong reputation and trust around okok Scripts, which naturally turned into one of the biggest FiveM stores today.
11. What's your best selling script/product and why do you think it became your best seller?
Definitely okokBanking. When it was first released, it was revolutionary for its time, both in design and functionality. Even though it's now a bit outdated, a v2 is coming very soon, and I'm confident it will once again set the standard for banking systems in FiveM.
Thousands of servers still use the current version today, which shows how solid and well-received it was from the start. I think it became our best seller because it perfectly balanced clean visuals, smooth performance, and user-friendly design, which are core values of every okok Scripts release.
12. On the opposite side, what's the worst selling script/product and why do you think that is?
No response.
13. Do you offer refunds to customers? If so, why? And if not, why?
Yes, we do offer refunds in certain situations, for example, if someone makes an accidental purchase, can't get the script to work on their server for any reason, or in rare cases where there's a technical issue we can't reproduce or solve after several attempts.
We always aim to make sure every customer is satisfied, so even though refunds for digital products can be complicated, we handle each case personally and try to be as fair and transparent as possible.
14. If you had to name the single greatest mistake you made, what was it and why?
No response.
15. How do you come up with new ideas for a script/product?
Some ideas are completely original, things I've had written down for years, while others come from observing what's trending in the market and creating my own improved version of it.
I also spend a lot of time brainstorming new concepts. Sometimes those ideas turn into successful releases, and other times they end up staying on the shelf. It's all part of the creative process, not every idea becomes a product, but every one of them helps shape the next one.
16. What tools, programs, platforms or workflows are essential to your development process?
We use a mix of tools that keep everything organized and efficient. Visual Studio Code is where all the coding happens, while TickTick helps us manage tasks and deadlines. For design work, I rely on Figma and Photoshop to create clean and consistent UIs.
All of our projects are managed through GitHub, which keeps development organized and allows us to collaborate efficiently. Overall, our workflow is built around simplicity and precision, making sure every detail is right before a script is released.
17. With GTA6 on the horizon, how do you think it will impact FiveM?
No response.
18. What other FiveM creators, if any, do you think are underappreciated or just not noticed enough right now?
No response.
19. What suggestions, if any, do you have for others considering launching a FiveM store of their own?
Focus on quality over quantity. Don't rush to release as many scripts as possible, instead, make sure each one feels polished, stable, and user-friendly. The FiveM market is competitive, but there's always room for developers who truly care about their work.
Also, build a community, not just a store. Interact with your customers, listen to feedback, and improve constantly. A strong, loyal community will always be more valuable than any marketing strategy. And most importantly, be patient. Success doesn't happen overnight, but consistency and passion always pay off.
20. Let's imagine someone launched a FiveM store and is gaining no traction, what advice would you give them?
First of all, don't get discouraged, every successful creator started from zero. If your store isn't gaining traction, take a step back and analyze why. Look at your products quality, presentation, pricing, and how you communicate with your audience.
Make sure your scripts solve real problems or add real value. that's what makes people interested. Also, focus on visibility, showcase your work with videos, build a Discord community and interact with your customers and other developers.
Most importantly, be consistent. Improvement takes time. Keep learning and listening to feedback. The more you focus on quality and connection, the faster people will start recognizing your name.
21. And lastly, do you have any info you'd like to share about anything you might be working on now or coming out with in the future?
We're currently working on a new script called okokWeedGrowing, we've always felt there was a lack of truly high-quality and unique weed-growing systems in FiveM, so we decided to create one that stands out both in visuals and functionality.
As mentioned earlier, okokBankingV2 is also on the way, and it's going to completely redefine what a banking system in FiveM can be. On top of that, we're developing okokMarketplaceV2, which is on a completely different level compared to the first version, a huge upgrade in every possible aspect.
Thank you to okok for sharing your journey with us! From CS:GO communities to building one of FiveM's most trusted brands, the focus on quality over quantity has clearly resonated. With exciting V2 releases on the horizon like okokBanking and okokMarketplace, plus the new okokWeedGrowing system, okok Scripts continues setting the standard for professional FiveM development.
