Ever wondered about the people behind your favorite FiveM scripts? In our latest series we are sitting down with the creators who shape the community.
Meet the backend web developer and business-minded creator behind KuzQuality. Known for one-of-a-kind systems like the Shell Creator, KuzQuality has built a reputation for developing unique scripts that solve real server needs.
1. What's your first name?
No answer.
2. Where are you from?
No answer.
3. How old are you?
24
4. What do you do hobby-wise (outside of FiveM)?
I enjoy cars, driving and looking at, not so much working on them, I own a "sports" car and like to attend some events at times
5. What led to you getting into FiveM?
I got into roleplay through Arma 3 Altis life servers. Which were much more primitve and less user-friendly than FiveM. Once I heard about FiveM, I decided to give it a go
6. What led to you creating scripts/launching a store, how did you get to that point?
I've been learning to code shortly before I started playing FiveM. I then became a developer on a FiveM server and started by editing simple scripts, and quickly began creating my own resources. Such as the OG meth script and my 'Advanced Fishing' script which were posted on the forum around 2020. After a 1/2 year break of FiveM I've got told that you can now sell scripts which got me intrigued, as I really enjoyed it and it was my hobby back in the day, before that was possible. That and all the progress and evolution of FiveM got me back at making scripts and eventually opening KuzQuality
7. Were you a developer prior to FiveM? If so, what did you do and if not, how did you learn?
I am a backend web developer outside of FiveM
8. What or who influenced you in the beginning, if anything/anyone?
I've always loved creating stuff for games, for others to play and enjoy
9. What is your favorite script/product you've created so far and/or what did you enjoy creating the most and why?
The Shell Creator script, as its one of its kind. A honorable mention is my Cocaine script which comes with its own custom island, that was a fun process which through loads of R&D led me to learn how to create custom models using Blender and Sollumz on a large scale
10. What steps did you take to build your name/brand in the beginning, if any?
I've always been intrigued and interested in business, I knew that my products had to be original and well made, but also had to be marketed well
11. What's your best selling script/product and why do you think it became your best seller?
Shell Creator. Being one of a kind, and a really useful system makes it a top seller
12. On the opposite side, what's the worst selling script/product and why do you think that is?
Probably my security systems resource. I believe that the reason for that is: The script doesn't hit the right audience, as its a largely aimed at other developers to be used as an addon for existing scripts, such as heists. It might feel too complicated or unnecessary for most users
13. Do you offer refunds to customers? If so, why? And if not, why?
Yes, we offer a 14-day, no questions asked refunds for any non-subscription purchases. I believe that customers have the right to return something they don't enjoy, or doesn't fit their server like they thought it would. Additionally if someone is unsure about a script they can safely get it, and try it out
14. If you had to name the single greatest mistake you made, what was it and why?
Not starting earlier, and not working harder during the first year of KuzQuality
15. How do you come up with new ideas for a script/product?
I try thinking of things that don't exist in FiveM yet, or things that would make the life of a server owner of players easier or better
16. What tools, programs, platforms or workflows are essential to your development process?
I make use of PhpStorm, with some plugins to help with the lua workflow. I know its not optimal but it's an IDE that I know and like. For creating custom assets I use Codewalker and Blender with the Sollumz addon
17. With GTA6 on the horizon, how do you think it will impact FiveM?
I believe that it will be a positive change for the roleplaying community. Not necessairly FiveM
18. What other FiveM creators, if any, do you think are underappreciated or just not noticed enough right now?
No answer.
19. What suggestions, if any, do you have for others considering launching a FiveM store of their own?
Be unique. Anyone* can make scripts, but it's the ideas that will sell
20. Let's imagine someone launched a FiveM store and is gaining no traction, what advice would you give them?
If your resources are solid, you might not be putting enough effort into marketing them. Make sure that the showcases are clear, and that your products are well represented. This does not mean that you need a fancy video, but at least one that shows off the script, how it works, what it adds, why someone should buy it
21. And lastly, do you have any info you'd like to share about anything you might be working on now or coming out with in the future?
We're currently working on a "Emergency Vehicles Creator" script, which will allow a simple way to convert any vehicle into an emergency vehicle, by adding functional props and decals.
Thank you to KuzQuality for sharing your insights with us! Their emphasis on originality and customer-first policies like 14-day refunds demonstrates a strong business mindset paired with technical skills. With projects like the Emergency Vehicles Creator on the horizon, KuzQuality continues pushing boundaries in the FiveM community.
